Being sneaky in barracks Saturday before Junior Sups. Light spice and rich cherry. Lush — 5 years ago
Côtes de Bourg is a Bordeaux region that many don’t know that delivers incredible wines for a fraction of the price of other regions. This higher priced bottle at £40+ sure delivers an amazing wine that would be triple in St Emilion & made by the folks from Tertre Rôteboeuf & called “the junior Tertre Rôteboeuf“ 👍 Drinking great young but will improve 😉

2021 vintage. Last tasted 7.17.24 (9.2). This "junior" Barolo continuing to bring the goods. Medium-heavy body. Likely best in another 7-10 years but showing nicely now. The nice price and a worthy choice while waiting for those big gun Barolos to come out of hibernation. 12.11.24. — 5 months ago
Apricots. Sweet. Nuts. Short finish. Not as many layers as the more expensive bottles. — 4 years ago
Very balanced- fruit, richness, but not heavy or fruity. — 2 years ago
Sparkling red roses throughout with an abundance of fresh raspberries, strawberries and rose hips. This may be the junior Pinot noir from Flowers but is worth every penny. — 5 years ago
