I love it more than some of the best champagnes! — 7 months ago
Deep ruby in color; black pepper, black cherries, and tabacco on the nose; high acidity; high tannins; tastes like blackberries, tart cherries, and wet slate with a long finish. — 7 months ago
Light but powerful, I think it has room to grow. — 8 months ago
Senses immediately overloaded, in a good way, with a bouquet of lavender tea, smoked cherrywood, tobacco, cedar, vanilla, and as someone here astutely observed, Alpine herbs. Buried underneath that is wild mushroom, wild raspberries, and cherries. Lasting nice finish, though a bit heavy on the alcohol compared to its southern nebbiolo cousins, but given the sforzato Amarone-like production process, this makes senses. One of the finest reds I've had in some time, certainly on par or better than the other nebbiolo I've tasted.
Better yet, I scored this for a steal of a price at a local Total Wine who either thought this was too old or didn't know what they had. — 10 months ago
Medium bodied, rich and juicy for a Valtellina. Savory & mineral, dried roses, cherries, prune, tobacco, some oak, anise. From Flatiron Wines. — 6 years ago

Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 6 months ago

Bright fresh, Chardonnay like in body and character. Complex and broad on the palate. Serious but not without freshness. — 10 months ago
The best digestive I've ever tried, it helps upset stomachs — 4 years ago
Rutabaga and charcoal and hen of the woods and cherry garcia. Yeah there is a little VA but it’s not intrusive. Maybe more wild than some of their other stuff but still that mountain freshness — 4 years ago
My all time favorite white. Incredible display of all attributes of a great wine! And I’m not a huge white wine fan!! You must try it! — 6 years ago
Crisp Italian sparkling white, served with Norumbega oysters at the Caring Community Cuisine Café (fka Musette), Cape Arundel, ME — 6 months ago
Bright ruby red color with a moderate transparency. The nose reveals fresh and fruity aromas of berries with very clean and pleasing aromas that starts with hints of cherry, currant and strawberry followed by scents of rose and violet. In the mouth the taste is fresh and dry, denoting a wine with a light but interesting body. — 7 months ago
