Plush crimson color, light bing cherry nose, raspberry and rhubarb, pretty dry after — 2 years ago
Amazing! So many complex and delicious flavors! — 5 years ago
Another wine from Orin Swift Cellars. And another one I love. It’s bold and deep. The nose is full of ripe plum, and some other dark fruit with a sweet vanilla. And on the palate it opens itself with some chocolate and a leather. Eight Years In The Dessert needs decantation. Give this wine an hour in a glass and you won’t be disappointed. — 5 years ago
Also had at Swift & Sons in Chicago. The price delta between a younger CDP Beaucastel and the aged 93 Lazaret was minimal and very worth it. Like lavender rolled in clay and then dried over sage. So damn good. Big boozy sappy tannic tar when opened but 30 mins later it came out to play. — 6 years ago
甘すぎないデザートワイン。限りなく濃い色。炭のような香り。相変わらずボトルデザインが面白い — 6 years ago
If you questioned whether a rose can be lumped in with cougar juice, question no longer. Orin Swift’s absolute apogee of a rosé satisfies like no other. Plenty of malolactic roundness settles firmly in the middle of fresh deliciousness. A drained glass speaks of kettle corn on warm dry slate. — 8 years ago
Wonderful Zinfadel. You can taste the Orin Swift roots. A little jammy on the front but wonderful finish. — 5 months ago
Spectacular red blend from Dave Phinney. Red fruit, especially cherries and raspberries. Drank the 2014 at the end of 2022. Need to decant if drinking I’m the next few years. Went well@alone or with food. — 3 years ago
What’s great wine with a nice finish. — 5 years ago
Almost a 91. But a bit short. Peaches and dried nuts. A little on the viscous side and to be honest with you I really didn't know what to expect. Leaner towards the finish. If I saw this on a discount for $40, I'd buy a couple of bottles. Rearding longevity, I just don't think this one is getting any better in the bottle, so might as well drink it now. — 6 years ago
Fragile - I don't believe it’s pronounced frah-ghee-lay - has a big, bright nose full of big, bright red fruit. A bit of heat pokes its head through, too, owing to the 15% alcohol content. That cherry-red fruit comes through on the palate as well, with a boatload of acidity to boot. The winery notes say Fragile pairs well with lighter fare and warm, sunny days. I'd have it with pork chops in a heartbeat. — 6 years ago

Perfect fall blend. — 6 years ago
Excellent wine I have always been a fan of Orin Swift l am so glad that I was able to grab a bottle. I feel this wine is able to pair with just about any meal that you may have in mind. I enjoyed my glass of trigger finger with several slices of pizza from my favorite pizzeria and for dessert I had another glass of trigger finger! — 6 years ago

Had after a Tempranillo. Felt lighter. But still great. — 5 months ago
