After getting past the very strong tannins and high alcohol content, I guess it’s okay. I decanted for an hour but maybe it needs more time or maybe it’s too young. Kind of disappointed 🙁

Massive as always with Orin Swifts wines and definitely needs a decant. Decanted for about 45 minutes. Tasted after initially opening and it is a bull in a China shop. Calmed down after the decant, black fruits vanilla licorice and some herbal flavors on the palate. Very good!

Excellent Zinfandel blend. Full bodied, balanced, lush, dry, versatile. Good value. Outstanding wine with crab cakes and filet mignon. First time drinking the 2018.
