Original House Wine

School House Vineyard

Mezcolanza Zinfandel Blend 2012

This winery’s Zins age beautifully. Color is still youthful. Complex nose shows earthy dark berry fruit, spice, sandalwood. Almost Bordeaux-like in the mouth. Dry, savory, some spicy blackberry fruit, and a minerally finish. Dry, with nice acids. — 11 days ago

Great time to open one of these. They need at least ten years to really come into their own

Mud House Wines

Central Otago Pinot Noir 2015

Dark cherry on the palate. Some Tannins providing dryness offsetting fruitiness common in Pinot Noir. This is a style typical of the Otago region and one that I like. January 2024. — 2 months ago

Dark Horse Wines

The Original No. 01 A California Big Red Blend

Best, deep red, not too fruity, but could get deeper. Very close to what I normally want for deep red quote out being bitter or to sweet. — 2 months ago

The Eyrie Vineyards

Original Vines Pinot Gris 2014

Beautiful creamy aromas up front, touch of SO2 that somewhat dissipates with swirling, on the palate absolutely lovely texture from the seemingly moderately ripe fruit, long, somewhat fat finish, very fine aged Oregon Pinot Gris!! — 5 months ago
