Petrol nose at first. Great complexity and evolution. Glossy, slightly gluey texture that coated the entire mouth, front to back. Acidic with sweet undertones. Pickle juice! — 5 years ago

restaurant bottle so it was pnp unfortunately as i think this needed quite a bit of air and/or more time in the cellar. tightly wound, tart fruit, high-ish acid. i think a lot of these dry farmed bio pinots from this region just need some years to unwind and develop secondary flavors. i've got several pinots from Brick House cellaring that i'm not going sniff under 5 years. — 4 years ago
My last bottle of the 2015 Bindi Original Vineyard Pinot. Pale in colour - almost transparent. More savoury, mulchy, Sous Bois than the tasting note in 2021 but it is red fruited with raspberry notes. Fine tannins. I don’t buy much wine these days but I do try to buy Bindi most years. I just received a mixed 6 and put away a couple of bottles of the 2023 Original Vineyard Pinot into the cellar. — 7 months ago
