When is a Riesling not a Riesling? When it’s baked under the sun getting a glistening tan like this one. Softness on the skins, ripe and lush and austere. Surely an odd one but thats what turns me on about winemaking decisions. It’s funny to taste this and compare it to our skin macerated Riesling. Both are weird not in the sense that there is anything bacterial about it but a sense that it’s one wacky and beautiful wine simultaneously — 6 years ago

Key word is smiling - details - Boudreaux blend with 75% cab - Galloni and RP like it and thought I would procure and yes it is a baby but OMG it is damn good right now - I had Ric stuff before and it was good but this is his best of the four vintages I had

This is big bold and beautiful - it jumps at you with intensity and power and energy - and still smooth - please decant as I did for two hours

Dark purplish fruit is blowing away my nose and steering to happiness with the taste and finish - this is an old school taste I remember when I fell in love with Napa cabs - this baby will keep growing as it rest for a long time - bravo Mr Forman - and summing it up - all SMILES — 9 years ago

I am proud to introduce an Italian Super Tuscan that I have been looking for for years! This is a wonderful example of a cabernet Franc at 30%!!!!! And a cabernet sauvignon blend. If you want an affordable cab / cab franc - one of my favorites, you absolutely have to try this one. Please note, if I give a wine a perfect score it means I would be happy to serve it to anyone at anytime with my 100% confidence that they will love it and want it and love me for it!!!! OMG. This is awesome! Here we go, this is Brancatelli, Valle Delle Stelle, Toscana 2013! It is only 13.5 %! First, decant for 30 minutes!!!! The color is dark but not opaque! The legs are long, thick, slow, and numerous in number. The bouquet is sweet cherry pie baking in the oven with a spicy aroma and a fig tree with rip figs. The initial palate is of coarse blackberry and dark currant with a mid palate explosion of vanilla and spice. The finish is oaky and dry leaving you wanting a splash of water to wet your palate!
