This is a delicious and robust wine at Sweet T’s with Claudie and David — 8 months ago
2015 for dinner with grilled NY Steaks salt a pepper finish. Fruit on the wine complemented the fat full flavor of the beef but the harmonious touch of dried herbs and an earthiness of mouth feel came together. In a really big sensation of married flavors to hand you the real deal. Beautiful Cabernet. Great wine and flavor combination to remember. Excellent. No rush to dink this wine it has years. — 5 years ago
Loved it. A well balanced Napa cab. Big fruit but had nice balance. Great nose. Probably gets even better w another 5+ yrs. but seemed fairly mature already. Great w ribeye. — 7 years ago
Low Fruit, vines grown on volcanic soil. Almost has a beautiful ash or smoke quality emerging from it, this is a wine that should age for a while, tannins are nice and exposed. — 9 years ago

This has softened considerably since my last bottle several years ago. Nose is complex, with earth, cedar, cigar box, and an incense-like note. In the mouth, it’s rich but medium-bodied. The tannins that were so prominent a few years ago have significantly resolved. Entering (finally) its drinking window. — 7 months ago
Deep ruby, 14.5% , bold, strong tannic, intense structure, black fruit, , not jammy, oak, tobacco, leather, vanilla, long finish, very good wine, bought $55 — 8 months ago
Delicious, full bodied but not overpowering. Complimented my filet meal.
Highly recommend — 6 years ago
This was the 2011 PH Beckstoffer Tokalon. Superbly constructed. Layers of fruit and subtle tannins. Approachable but deep and distinct. I can't wait for the opportunity to taste this again. Highly recommended purebred California Cab. — 11 years ago
Finally i bought a Cabernet Sauvignon with the richness of a Bordeaux. A beautiful, powerful, complex steak wine. Cranberry, earth, tar, leather, and spice. Smooth and elegant with smooth bitter tannins in the finish. — 7 months ago
Fruit fading but still there with a long satisfying finish on the palates — 10 months ago

1 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A splendid dark purplish magenta color. On the nose: expressive notes of dark brambly fruit, currants, floral, milk chocolate, planting soil, and eucalyptus. Taste: silky, jammy mouthcoating wine with dark plum/cherry, earth, licorice, dark chocolate, and a long graphite/coffee ground finish. YUM! — 6 months ago
