The label doesn’t lie. Very flavorful and drinkable. — 6 years ago
Sourced from the esteemed Seven Hills Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley, this Viognier opens with a ripe bouquet of white peach, vanilla cream and suggestions of honey and apricot. The palate shows notable viscosity and tension, with nectarine, Pink Lady apple, green papaya and honeydew melon flavors all buiding up to the finish. Drink 2019-2025- 92 — 7 years ago
If it wasn’t for its monotonous mineral flavours I’d rather rate it quite much higher.
Lovely dry and mineral sparking.
Hints of Friuli’s terroir into a notable sparkling champenoise. — 8 years ago
Lithe, angular, notable minerality. — 8 years ago
It’s hard to focus on this when there’s that. Despite my SQN gawking, this was a real surprise. I had previously tasted the 2011 vintage shortly after it made Wine Spectator’s Top 100 list in 2013, but my recollection of it was that of a simple, juicy, fruit forward style that was notable for its balance and refreshing style. This vintage is a completely different animal. The sultry savory smokiness does its best to disguise its pure red cherry fruit, but it’s a purity and a concentration that can’t be held down. Not only does this have length, the cumbrous confluence of flavors are somehow precision tailored to a seamless finish, the end of which is difficult to pinpoint. — 8 years ago
Rossa amb olor de molsa, cos notable i final suaument amargant . Blat , civada i ordi , refermentada en l'ampolla. + Cub. — 8 years ago
Beautiful consistent deep red colour, lovely balance on the palate with a well assembled rosehip taste. Very good, old school dolcetto and among the best I’ve tasted. It’s higher price puts it against mi-level Barbera or entry level Barolo and it’s likely more e notable than either. — 5 years ago
Medium tannins, red fruit. Solid red, but nothing too notable on first taste. — 7 years ago

Hogan's Run Russian River Valley 2015. (This is not Eastside unless that's where Hogan's Run is located but this is Delectable's identification.) Excellent wine, dark- deep color, perfect balance, light tannins, full bodied with big but not biggest fruit though notable...w/tasty finish. Close To a previous Mueller RR tasted. — 7 years ago

The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is striking. Silky, nuanced and exceptionally polished, the 2012 possesses notable purity, with gorgeous aromatics and notable energy. Hints of anise, savory herbs, iron, smoke and tobacco develop in the glass, but the flavors remain quite primary... (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2014) — 9 years ago
Medium yellow. Meyer lemon, lemon curd, yellow delicious apple, underripe white peach, sea salt, yeasty, briny, stony minerality, and hints of cheese rind. Tart citrus and high tone minerality on the palate. Elevated acidity, 12.5% abv, medium+ finish. Importer’s notes: From the right side of the Serein River, situated right next to the Grand Cru Blanchot. A soft and elegant wine, the Montée de Tonnerre is situated in the same line as the Grand Crus. The notable white clay helps to develop intense fruit and floral aromas. The older vines add the depth and complexity in the mouth. Regarded by many as the best and most consistent Premier Cru in Chablis. Lime-clay soils with Kimmeridgian fossils. Fermentation and maturing in stainless steel tanks. — 5 years ago
From magnum and after 4+ hours of air. Mature color. Exotic nose with a hint of brett. Notes of dark fruit, cedar, moist dark soil, some cola, iron and a little menthol. Nicely balanced in the mouth. The brett thing blew off or wasn’t notable after awhile. Consistent notes with recent tastes of this. Ready for consumption, but in a steady holding pattern. — 7 years ago
The 2015 Pinot Noir Reed Vineyard emerges from a northern facing slope that is always the last to be harvested. Silky and succulent on the palate, with terrific vibrancy, the Reed is also quite open today. Like most of these wines, the Reed offers notable purity and freshness throughout. Best of all, it should drink well with minimal cellaring. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2018) — 7 years ago
Pali Cortado, around 80 yrs old from solera that used to belong to Gasper Florido. Single Cask, bottle December 2013. The aroma on this was incredible. The taste was the opposite from the nose. Smoke/burnt note with notable presence of walnuts. Preferred this over the 49. Great bottle to try. First time experiencing old sherry. — 8 years ago
