First tastes were deliciously chocolaty. Aftertaste is bittersweet. It’s a thick dark beer. Alcohol content is 6%. — 5 years ago
Mid Lemon in colour. Aromas of White Citrus flowers and a note of Mandarin. Lime and lemon on the palate with the citric acid having settled down from its youth. Not particularly complex - just a refreshing German dry Riesling 12% ABV. Good QPR at about $35AUD. Tasted again 18 weeks later on 16th January 2021 with similar impressions. There was mandarin, citrus oil and honey. No complexity to speak of but fresh and well presented - from an excellent producer. — 6 years ago
Whoa. On the nose: ripe sweet peach, honeysuckle, bright sweet lemon oil, guava, lime, lovely and amazingly intense. On the palate, fantastic acidity, excellent dry extract, slate, lime oil, sweet peach, and white pepper on the intense finish. This is a stunning btl of wine. — 6 years ago
Honey on the nose...a bit of bitter in the aftertaste. Oil, but weight. Lovely to drink!!! — 6 years ago
Replaced a badly corked 02 Dauvissat Clos with this. Medium gold color, heavy like oil in the glass. Immediately it shows off its Raveneau nose with notes of apricot, white clay, sea breeze, tan spice and river stone. Enjoyed over 5 hours after a 2 hour decant. Great juice! — 4 years ago
Yes. Pop and pour, notes from 3 hrs open. As with the Pur Sang, this needs a lot of air right now. With air, this is stunning. Gooseberry, sour apple, lemon oil, mint leaf. On the palate: great density and richness, but balanced by fantastic acidity. Mint-infused oil, lemon peel, lovely herbal notes. Lovely, clean finish. — 6 years ago
Pineapple and lemon oil. — 6 years ago
A great vintage and stupidly good with Hedy’s Melted Racklette Confit Potatoes with smoked olive oil. What a pair!!!
If you enjoy this young, over chill and decant one hour. It needs it and it vastly improves.

Motor Oil with raisins and fig flavors. Smooth and quite sweet. Just not my kind of desert wine. — 5 years ago
Nose of lemon oil, citrus oil, slate, soupy but fresh and super clean. Very perfumed. Palate is superb. So so elegant and layered. Pretty as can be with ripe citrus and stone fruits. Stoney finish with tons of citrus pith. Beautiful explosiveness. Clean and balanced with excellent acidity but not overwhelming. Good concentration and compactness. Piquant. Some yellow plums and apricot on the finish. After 30 minutes this brings the elegance big time. Wow. What a gorgeous wine. — 6 years ago

II’ve loved all the Sandhi 2012 range of whites & this £65 S&B is superb 👍 Paired with enough curry to get a small village going regular for a week 🤣 💨 sorry I didn’t take pics of that feast 😁

Medium gold color. Heavy in the glass like oil. Killer nose. Notes of ripe apricot, tan spice, sea breeze, cardamom, some chalky limestone soil and sea shells. Rich and silky in the mouth. Light and not too heavy. Long finish. In a great spot. — 4 years ago
