2010, Domaine des Monts Luisants, Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru, Pinot Noir. Drank too young, needs more time. — 10 years ago
One of a flight of five 2009 Premier Cru Vosne Romanee .Terroir and winemaking do make a difference. Hard to choose but definite differences . All fine wines. And all from just two vineyards. — 11 years ago
First of Red Burg trio at Wallflower. Bigtime fruit with developing structure. This was my second favorite. — 12 years ago
Powerful and rich. Serious sap. Framed by good acidity on a mineral spine. And this was a mild leaker. — 12 years ago
Who knew Sancerre could age this well? — 13 years ago
Lovley, quite sweet. Could go to food, dessert or just enjoy. Easy to like. Evolvs nicley as let breath. — 5 years ago

Fresh red cherries, raspberry jam, vanilla bean, mushrooms, white pepper, wet rocks. Soft pronounced acid, minimal narrow smooth velvet tannins, light-medium bodied, juicy-silly texture, clean fruity slightly earthy finish. Approachable crowd pleasure, clean and pure. — 10 years ago
A fine example of what this fairly obscure, under-the-radar, consistently good producer can do. — 12 years ago
Sunflower seeds, some oil, smoke and olives on the nose. Very smooth, calm tannins, medium acidity, very earthy, raisins, blackberry, black curants. Shorter finish. Great, light and wonderful. — 12 years ago
Not 4 all but love this slightly oxidized, plump but clean style. This maker makes from grapes in diff terroir incl Jura- this betrays his roots. Plus a good value. — 12 years ago
This was crazy town — 13 years ago
A bit over the edge...won’t say pass by the hours of glory are behind. Still good acidity but short mouth fell. — 8 years ago
2001 good age, light & somewhat earthy. Perfectly paired with the Beef Wellington & Madeira reduction. Thanks for the suggestion Steven.🍷. Thanksgiving 2015 — 10 years ago
Crisp, bright, and refreshing with lime and stone flavors. — 11 years ago
Damn good bottle — 12 years ago
Have had this with Kay and really like it — 12 years ago
This wine is compelling. Just when I'm ready to write it off as 'vintage' it tightens up & 'producer' takes the lead role. — 13 years ago
