Bright ruby red color. Bountiful aromas of red berries and dried violets. Pallet is full of strawberry and raspberry fruit with hints of black tea, baking spices, earth and pepper spice. Just a bit of a “gamey” quality as well. Nice hint of oak on the clean finish. Fine tannins and bright acidity. Creamy texture. Rich and nicely rounded. Absolutely a “California-Style” Pinot Noir. Nice choice, Mark Smith. — 3 years ago
This is it. Almost perfect pinot noir. Light, but with a leather and vanilla. Fresh with red fruits: a cherry, a raspberry. And something else. But keep it a secret. — 5 years ago
Big dark berry slightly spicy cola nose. Big chewey fruity blackberry cherry, herbal, tea, juicy acid medium tannin. Yum — 7 years ago
Paired well with a lamb, eggplant purée, fava beans, piquolo pepper. Would also pair with a medium rare magret duck or other game. — 10 years ago
One of the better Pinots I've had — 12 years ago
Opened up a little funny with some top of bottle sediment, but with air got a lot better. A pretty rich almost funky pinot — 5 years ago

Great nose and full of flavor! Got a great deal in Florida and wasn't disappointed!! Could use a little age and an easier finish, but some really good stuff! — 10 years ago

Quite good and better than I expected. An upper mid range Cab that is pleasing to drink. Typical fruit forward cab with vanilla and berry notes. — 2 years ago
