2020 vintage. MV Shiraz. MV stands for both Mc Laren Vale and Multiple Vineyards, as this is a 100% Shiraz blend from 4 of the 6 biodynamically farmed Paxton estates. All parcels were vinified seperately, aged in French oak and blended prior to bottling. Intense perfume of blackberries and subtle spices with a hint of eucalyptus. Fresh, energetic and balanced with very good spicy length. Abv. 14%. — 3 years ago
Apple. Then lime/Lemon. Bitterness. The minerality/flint is the standout characteristic. Good Acid. Very easy to drink. Excellent wine. — 3 years ago
Deep and complex, unlike anything I expect from a rioja. Truly delicious with light hits of fruits, chocolate and nuts. — 4 years ago
Initial hint of lemon and citrus and a hint of oak. Creamy thickness. More bouquet as it warms. At Cafe Wernbacher in Salzburg — 5 years ago
