(2020)Unreal nose, so salty, so briochey, so good. Unreal depth, so complex and serene. Salty and creamy, so and so dry and has to be zero dosage. Reserve wines and mostly 2020. 2 years on yeast. Unreal mousse. 1.4 dosage. Extra Brut. Sapid, so elegant and just crazy bubbles. saline and salty and also brown butter. Stunningly pure. Made in the evacuation bunker of WWII. So fine. So great. Wonderful. 100% Pinot. BDB coming. Nose is so precise. The brioche is so clearly defined. — a year ago

Quite rich for a Pinot yet very elegant. Raspberry and fresh cherry with some nice undergrowth and the eatheric lightness of a great Pinot. Soft and velvety mouthfeel with great acidity and light, perfectly polished tannins. Finishes of with a spicy note. What a delight, and it comes from Graubünden, out of all places. — 6 years ago

Dang, this is a good Chardonnay! White burg is one of my fave styles, and this certainly meets it. Floral, grassy nose. Green apple and preserved lemon peel. Pale, clear color. Crazy, focused mouth-watering acidity and dry, dry minerals. I haven’t had too many pure Swiss Chardonnays, but this is the alpine Graubünden style I like. Thanks @Lyle Fass — 9 months ago

One of the best Swiss Pinots we sell and it is a smoke show in 2020. Wow. Ethereal perfume of sappy cherries, black cherries, late season cherries, light smokey oak, camphor, burnt fireplace embers, decaying leaves, vanilla extract and spice. So complex and deep. 9.7 nose. Insane. Wow! Wow! So complex, elegant and juicy. Sweet fruit with tons of energy but my goodness what finesse and sleek fruit. This is amazing. The finish has a lipstick like intensity. Stunning on the PNP and I am sure will improve with air. What a finish. Goes on and on. This has such a weightlessness to it plus top notch fruit clarity. Unreal delicacy. Just a stunning showing.

A brilliant effort, the 2015 Malanser Pinot Noir from iconic winemaker Thomas Studach is game on. Medium ruby, the nose reveals intense aromas of wild strawberry, ripe red and black cherry, wood smoke and menthol. The palate delivers a full-body, excellent levels of ripe and juicy red fruit, fine grained tannins and fresh acidity. A gorgeous Swiss Pinot from a generous vintage. No it’s not a red blend !!! Completer is a native Swiss white varietal, mostly grown in Graubünden, where this example is from. Light straw colour touches of green . Green apple , pear , white flowers , touch of peach perhaps , buttery note also. Quite round in the mouth , more of the pear and apple but also mineral and wet stones and a slightly honeyed note. Balancing and well judged acidity, impressive length . Very enjoyable not showing it’s alarming 14,5% alcohol . Very good — 6 years ago
