Blend of Tintilla and Tempranillo from the biodynamically farmed vineyard Calderín del Obispo within the Pago de Balbaína, close to the Atlantic Ocean. Fresh, juicy red fruit, lighter than other Tintilla-based wines from the region. Easy to drink — 4 years ago
Day 2 of Napa in the books!
Started off our day at Continuum. One of the most beautiful and sleek in style properties I’ve ever been to. Incredible layout and dedication to land. This Novicium is 89% cab, 11% CF I believe. About twice as much cab percentage than their flagship Continuum. Made from younger vines. Very floral aromatics of potpourri and sage (lots of this around the property). Heavy mid palate sandwiched between fairly light front and finish. Dark cocoa dusted dates, graphite, and blackberry. — 7 years ago

Youngish, which is to be expected for Raffault. Full of promise, revisit in five years — 8 years ago
In 2005 Marie and Frédéric Chauffray came across the perfect plot of land—25 acres on the plateau of Arboras in Terrasses du Larzac, situated in the Langeudoc. They sold the prestigious wine shop they owned outside Paris and embarked upon the dream of making wine, together founding Domaine de La Réserve d'O. Berry fruit and cacao notes. Cherry and mocha with spice and fine tannins. Lingering finish with ending with mineral notes. — 8 years ago
Very good US Chardonnay without the oak which ruins so many . Baked apples , citrus . A lovely finish. — 4 years ago
Very much in the style of the Sandhi wines from Santa Barbara. Touch of flint, matchstick, lemon pie and cream. #oregon #chardonnay #eolaamityhills — 4 years ago
Tony and his wife Herta purchased 30 acres of land in the Napa Valley with the magic ingredient - location. With a splash of Malbec added, aromas of dark berry fruit and cigar box spice. On the palate flavors of black cherry and raspberry with cacao, licorice and herb notes. Fine tannins, nice acidity, good balance on long finish ending with fruit and cedar notes. Drinking well now! — 5 years ago
It’s been two weeks since any activity on my end 🤷🏻♀️ I promise I’ve been drinking well! A thank you to @Antonio Galloni for letting @Samantha Potter and I join a mid-tasting lunch with a glass of this wonderful wine. I sadly didn’t take notes but I do remember it went down like silk, really delicious. — 7 years ago
Naked Pinot Gris the best I've tried so good I finished the whole bottle to myself def buy again fab — 8 years ago
Today's lesson is on patience. Over a 24 hour period this showed quite a bit of promise. That's all it showed th0...it was worth opening and checking out and ''twas quite gorgeous where it was but this will reward sitting around for a while. Real chambolle in this bottle, don't be fooled. — 8 years ago
Beautiful wine! I’ve had other vintages of this wine in the past. I tasted this 2017 out of 1.5L. Felt quite feminine in nature. Medium plus acidity and a long finish. Red fruited, and earthy. Dried cranberries, and tarragon. Seemed like a kaleidoscope of aromas and flavors. Very happy to have tried this! — 4 years ago
Excellent, would definitely have again. Slightly fruitier than your average dry Sauvignon. Purchased via Naked. — 4 years ago
A little to young in the palette but wonderful on the nose. A lot of promise in this bottle of for a future tasting!! — 7 years ago
Watching game seven of the National League Series with my family in Colorado. Wonderful wine. This is the 2014 Grenache Syrah blend. Tastes like a far more expensive wine. — 7 years ago
