Matched this with a mushroom pizza at one of my old destinations in Phoenix. Mushroom, earthy and raspberry notes in nose. Raspberry and blackberry in mouth. Tangy, almost lemony in finish. Delightful so far but may open up more

This blend was balanced but lacked single terroir identity so like drinking fine Cognac rather than Almagnac...enjoyable nonetheless.

Dense and dark. Earthy w/ tar. Almost Rhone like.

Still young and wound up, but full of promise, tart fruit and herbal undertones.

Wrapped up tight, even after a good decant. Feels more like a young Burgundy then Cali, but there does seem to be some lovely fruit mixed in with the earth, tea and tannin. Wait.

Peppery and cherry notes, structured yet subtle. Definitely tight & early in its development. Fascinating to drink another of the new California order-its all balance & less ripe levels

Smoky and earthy on the nose. Lots of red fruit, strawberry on the palate.

Young version of this wine ... on track to exactly what I like in Cali Pinot noir. Stems, ethereal nose, light weight but with grip.
