very pretty, elegant structure, a little dusty , a little too rich on the dark fruits, like a little over ripe. but all in all very nice 11 year old wine — 4 months ago

The ‘22 of this wine is a worthy successor to the surprisingly excellent ‘21. Deep, bright iodine-laced mountain berries on the nose, with dark florals and spice. In the mouth it’s a little more angular and as-yet disjointed than the ‘21, but I think a year or so will pull it together. Acids, tannin, extract, moderate alcohol (14.5%) are all there, but they haven’t made friends yet. They will. Very nice. — an hour ago

Quite pale in color after 21 years. Very port wine like. Was too busy for detailed notes. Winner of the evening. — 4 months ago
Our fav red Bordeaux, so far. Smooth. Minimal tannins. Quite light, Pinot density. Mineral notes w just right amount of dark fruit. W loves. From Haskell’s box. — 6 months ago

Nicely perfumed & very elegant.
Ripe black currant & black cherry, with some cassis. There’s some nice cedar wood hints and a bit of orange peel. Fresh, juicy, enticing.
Such a nice mouthfeel, the tannins juicy, velvety, beautifully polished & finely grained. Impeccable balance and nice depth & precision. More damson plum on the palate with a hint of cherry. Nice finish with a touch of menthol & salt.
Drinking beautifully right now. Very good friendly & quite delish. — 12 days ago
