Bought at Waitrose (I think). Punches well above its weight. Smooth, notes of black current and tobacco but not overpowering. Very easy drinking but complex — a month ago
Lovely Toro, hint of raisin, medium body, paired well with a lean rabbit stew. — 9 hours ago
Fragrance was really good and the initial taste was great. It gets sour over time but it goes with everything. Nice and mature wine. — 2 months ago
Just an amazing bottle. Of course you always have that Spanish iodine finish but full of purple fruit and depth. — a month ago
On the nose lots of fruits blackberry, blueberry, and raspberry flowers by backing spices, leather, and ground pepper. And the same follows on the pallet. Very dry for me normally not a Grenache fan but this is yummy for sure. — a month ago
Un tempranillo mezcla de rioja. este es mi tercero tempranillo desde rioja. espero sentirme un caballero. first scent was coke (cola) on the cork. hue is extremely dark. No clarity much turbidity in broad daylight. slight note of sweet cherry. much barrel and deep tannic tones of turbulence i find terrific. sour cherry on the tongue. Really dazzling deep wine brings the whole picnic and woodsy fairytale all together #tempranilloblend — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over two days. Best on Day 2 after it brightened up. The 2008 pours a deep garnet with a near opaque core; medium+ viscosity with moderate staining of the tears and signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is vinous with notes of blackberry compote, coffee, Werther’s Chocolate, tobacco leaf, leather, teriyaki, demi-glace, and dry earth. On the palate the wine is dry with medium+ tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes on the nose. The finish is long and slightly savory. This is delicious and has to be one of the great values in Ribera del Duero. Drink now through 2032+. — 19 days ago

Nice Spanish Monastrell, bold fresh wine we had with a Michigan Upper Peninsula beef and rutabaga pasty. — a month ago
