Hot tub-! Meaning, Macon in the hot tub. Which also means that any wine tasted in hot tub conditions deserves better, & at least some recognition the hot tub distorts. Still, a lithe, Meyer lemon & mineral palate. Helps actually to be in, yes, the hot tub to loosen up the dimensionality. Would go back to this. — 9 months ago
Deep complex nose which explodes on the tongue! Balanced raisiny and luscious dark fruit. — 4 years ago
Good concentration. Jam mixed with black fruits and cherry. Sweet and spices. Good match with spicy Chinese food. Chateau Saint Jean Plan de Dieu @, , 241004 — 7 months ago
Lovely wine. Pale straw color. Nose of sage, seashells, salt and green fruit, maybe (maybe) lemon rind. Acidity hits right away at the top of the tongue and quickly transitions around the outside, then lingers deep into the long finish. On the palate there’s green apple and sage, seashells, sea salt, and a touch of sea foam. Green apple skin lingers. Fuller body. I can really go for oysters right now. — 3 years ago

This 2022 is next level. Have had several Rhône whites recently and this is a standard bearer. So focused. About editing and restraint with subtle hints of this and that without hitting you over the with anything. Dominated by Rousanne which explains its elegance and subtlety. Has a honeyed fresh slightly poached apricot and apple combo with whiffs of baking spices. Great Lacey quartz structure. Beguiling.. perfect with scallops, acorn squash and rice pilaf — 6 months ago
