Light un-oaked. A nice appetizer wine. — 2 months ago
Thanksgiving wine- Catalanes red, 65% Carignan & 35% Syrah done up nice & dense almost like a baby CDF but less raspberry & more dark berry. Drank a 100% Carignan right after so interesting to compare. Very good & fresh style, but still more brooding & extracted given the Syrah I imagine. Throws off sediment so worth a decant. Second label (Domaine de Chevalier) Graves Red Blend. (65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 5% Petite Verdot). Deep purple color. Dark berry aromas and flavors. Hints of cedar, licorice, minerals and baking spices. Round and silky. Long finish. Well structured. Great value. — 4 years ago
Amazing concentration and intensity. Better on day two. Oak is noticeable and could use some more time in bottle. — a year ago
We had this with a veggie wellington for Xmas day. It was silky smooth, and absolutely bloody delicious. £20 a bottle, for Xmas only! — 3 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color with delicate aromas of citrus, stone fruits and floral note. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with notes of floral spice. Medium+ finish, slight citrus notes, vivid acidity and ends with floral mineral spice. Nice! Drink now! — a month ago
