The nose shows a bit of herbaceous notes, along with raspberries, blackberries and green bell pepper notes. I could have easily mistaken it for a cab franc. There is a tiny savoury note too, lurking in the back. The palate is medium bodied, with a delicious blackberries-raspberries stew note all along, a velvety mouthfeel that is slightly disrupted by gently drying tannins in the rear. The finish is long, fruity, with a nice savoury note, an rides on a tannic layer until the very end. The palate and finish remind me very much of my beloved Fronton 100% négrette wines from Domaine Le Roc. Good stuff 👍🏻 — a day ago

Interesting red (Bordeaux Style) blend from the very north of Italy. Plenty of mineral, dark cherry and ripe raspberry aromas and flavors. Hints of blue fruit and prunes. Chewy tannins and very round body. — 4 years ago

I don’t like Pinot Grigio. A wine shop I really trust recommended this bottle and now it’s changed my mind on how a Pinot Grigio can express itself. Granite/slate and lilies on the nose. Round mouth feel with just a bit of lemon acidity. Clean finish. Lovely! — a year ago
