1996 vintage. Open but not decanted. Pretty serious sed. Tasted one hour after opening. A bit tight at that time, yet, the effort, quality and experience all up front and center. Still the best wine this property has ever made. Possibly 3-4 more years at this apex. A maggie would extend it to 5-8 years. Wow. Just wow. 8.2.24. — a month ago
We had the 2019 Vintage on 8/4-5/24. A fantastic RRV PN. Black cherry, black raspberry, Cinnamon, baking spice and cola. Medium bodied with a wonderful mouth feel. Smoothed out tannins with a nice finish. Would definitely buy more. I like this more than their single vineyard offerings — a month ago
Over the top Pinot Noir but I like it. — 4 days ago
So solid, year in year out - I know they make a ton of this, and yes it’s at Costco, but when you’re looking for a reliable Zin, this is it. Bordering on being too fruit forward - this barely checks the box for secondary aromas & flavors. Balanced harmonious with intermediate aging potential. Try to find their single vineyard offerings. — 8 days ago
Excellent wine. Color showed no sign of age, dark edge to edge. The nose had a lot going on; lead pencil, berries, licorice and others. The taste was full with a nice long smooth finish. Now on to 2016s. — 3 days ago
Holding up well for a 13 year old PN. Drink now, it’s not going to get any better. — 3 days ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of dark black fruits, herb and pepper spice, fruit from both estate vineyards in the Russian River Valley, Dry Creek and Alexander valleys. On the palate flavors of blackberry and plum with espresso, leather, tobacco and black pepper. Firm tight tannins, medium+ finish with fruit and spicy ending. — a month ago
Such a soft floral Pinot noir. Enjoyed. — 25 days ago

Made for a nice strong wine for Magic: The Gathering night. Aromas of plum, blackberry and dark chocolate. Strong, lingering dark fruit, chalky minerality and cocoa. This one needs to breathe a bit.
