Brilliant deep ruby - quite dark for gamay. Lovely spice, violet, red flowers, cranberry, raspberry liqueur and a nice earthy, forest floor note. This wine has surprisingly vibrant acidity and soft tannins - good with food and probably even better in a year. I made salmon with a soy, ginger and orange glaze and it was a terrific match — 7 years ago

Semillon balances the wine nicely. More complex then I expected. Worked well with baked salmon with mustard sauce. Good value. — 10 years ago
Truman's starting the week off right. Finally ventured outside the Napa region. 75% Grenache, 25% Syrah. Not as sweet as the Napa Grenache that we've had, but good nose and smooth finish. — 12 years ago

Jean-Marie's pet project--jar-aged Carignan. Really, really good; far more fruity and less reductive funk than I would have imagined. A gift to my friend Zach during our visit. — 9 years ago
Fresh cut strawberries and a cut of minerals on the nose. Good acidity with a strong mineral midpalate and longish finish. A nice mid-priced rose — 10 years ago

Leather, cedar, and cherry, Loire funk if you think about it. Caraway on the nose. Surprisingly light with all those flavors. Definitely a 2015 (ripe). — 8 years ago
Smooth texture, fruity, Refined a little acidic as an aftertaste ( not a big white lover) — 9 years ago
Smell of fresh linen, palate of nectarines and a finish of vanilla syrup. Lovely and clean with the newness of oak, perfect pair with salmon benedict and complaints of our exes. — 10 years ago
Bought this to be the "wine before the wine" bottle and while light and crispy (as you would expect) , it really holds its own as far as strength on the flavor profile. Highly recommendable Sancerre #sancerre #wine #whitewine #domaine #france — 10 years ago
