Lovely aperitif, pairs well with cheese and fruit, best served very chilled to help balance the acidity. — a year ago
Nice easy drinking champagne. Low acidity and a hint of strawberry. — 3 months ago
Tasted blind. My guesses were around Fedellos do Couto and Matassa, but with influence from Sextant. Entry-level funky-style wine. Slightly restrained and simple in the nose with notes of sweet cherry, cranberry and spoiled jam. But it pays well in the taste. Fizzy at the beginning, salty with flavours of spoiled strawberry-cranberry jam but with the right volume and evolution based on jamminess. I would take it on a picnic, chill a little bit, and then chill together with a bottle or two of this wine. — 3 years ago

Paired with steak au poivre. Some sediment even after decanting. Wine is pepper and tobacco on the nose (no that wasn't the steak). Picked up some blackberry jam and chocolate and coffee on the nose after it opened up. Taste was jammy and peppery with a strong tannin bite. Thought it got more deep and complex as it sat. Paired really well, would drink again, wife didn't mind it despite not being a Merlot fan. — 9 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2017 Special Club pours, a straw color with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe and tart, orchard fruit: apples, lemon curd, a touch of toasted brioche, some marzipan and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long and creamy. A lovely Special Club from an often maligned year for Champagne though, my experiences have been largely positive. At a dosage of 5g/l, this vintage is technically Extra Brut. Drink now through 2037. — a day ago
