A young wine, that will only get better. It’s big and bold, big ripe red and black fruit. Big chewy tannins that have softened up a bit but are still bold. Solid acidity, gonna age well. Hard to rate this fairly given it’s young age and lack of decanting.. it was a little tight and closed initially but started to open up as the bottle was consumed .. Has great upside and I can see this easily being a 95+ point wine if given the proper treatment! — 5 years ago

Wasn’t sure if this would be awesome based on initial first impression. But just a quick double decant brought it to life. Dust, chocolate, cassis, cola, fine grained tannins that are totally soft and approachable. 96+ — 6 years ago

There is something about Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard Cabernets that I almost always love. Like this wine, they almost always have a beautiful combination of black cherry and blueberry fruit in abundance.
