This wine is a Hundred Acre Ark. Not sure why vinous is having such a hard time identifying. Does not even come up on the search??? This followed the ‘02 Keenan Reserve and ‘05 Barbour. Wow what a night cap!! It is deserving of its 100 point rating. — 3 months ago
Extremely blessed to have shared this amongst great friends. Ruby color, concentrated nose of blueberry currant, black cherry, oak, forest, and spice. On the palate the wine is dry, high acidity, medium+ tannins, high alcohol, full bodied, with pronounced flavour intensity of dark fruit and dark chocolate. The wine feels very smooth and round with a medium+ and balanced finish. Cheers! — a month ago
Dark ruby color with a brick rim. Intense aromas of plums, eucalyptus and black pepper. A bit of funk as well but it blew off quickly. Flavors of plum pudding, roasted meat, soy sauce and black licorice. Dense and earthy. Savory and powerful. Opens up beautifully. Thank You Pete and Kase! — 2 months ago
Same comments as before. Didn’t realize I had pulled one of these just a few weeks ago. Oops. Still have a few left I’ll remember to let sit. Drinking well for an ‘18. Still needs a solid 45+ min decant now though. Dense nice mouthfeel. Black and red fruit, wet earth, sweet tobacco. Smooth chewy tannins. Nice acidity that’ll let this age nicely for another 8-10 years. Good smooth finish. Alcohol hidden pretty well. — 6 months ago
An incredible wine, still in its infancy so quite tight but tons of dark inky fruit and WOW the stave and barrel selection/fine tuning gave this an indescribable spice. Cinnamon, clove and Szechuan pepper, it was pretty wild. Tuck away for a decade at least before approaching. Jayson isn’t messing about over there. — a month ago
The 100% Cabernet Sauvignon fermented in new French oak barrels hand-selected by Jayson and spent an additional 24-30 months aging in the new French oak. This is a wine of power with structured tannins and an intense complexity from the first sip— full and ripe red fruits with subtleties of baking spice, cedar, and violets. - ACME Fine Wines — a month ago

Time for second tasting of the vintage. Still showing great fruit, acidity. Lots of aging potential with a healthy skin tannin structure here. No other updates; I’m just going to enjoy all the cranberry, raspberry and mulberry goodness in this one. To mellow those tannins, decant at least two hours. — 2 months ago
