One of the best Malbec’s I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Mendoza!! — 2 years ago
Garnet color with hints of orange on the rim showing the age. On the nose, dried but ripe and brambly blackberry, raspberry and almost a savory quality to it with thyme and rosemary spices coming through. On the palate, you get the ripe fruits with an overall lifted spiced wine with a minerality backbone with a long expressive finish. I could taste the wine almost 4 mins later. High complexity and high quality wine that is very expressive and full of fruit and garrigue. Medium acidity, medium body, medium and silky tannins and medium alcohol. Decanted for 3 hours and what a treat on Grenache day!! :) — 5 years ago
For the money this is a gem, little sweet lacking some acidity but on a hot day I’d gladly drink this. — 6 years ago
My kind of Malbec-excellent balance, emphasis on freshness, acidity, but the black fruit shines as well, alcohol completely in check. My go to wine shop thought this was their best malbec (out of many) & I agree — 7 years ago
Juicy and the right amount of acid for me to keep me engaged. Cherries and plums are the prominent combo I’m getting here. — 2 years ago
Nose is dark red fruit with blackberry, blueberry, and cooked strawberry. Palate is dark cherry, cooked strawberry, ripe blackberry, rhubarb, ripe fig, caramel, cola, oak, cedar, mushroom, green pepper, cinnamon, and truffles. Medium tannins, high acid, medium alcohol, and long finish. An outstanding Chinon. — 2 years ago
Fruity and spicy — 5 years ago
Very good wine at an excellent price! Way more complex than what I expected. — 5 years ago
This one comes from a certified sustainable farm, with blackberry and dried cranberry character, a bit sweet and fruity at the end which makes it perfect for drinking by itself, it won’t go wrong with a nice steak! — 6 years ago
Gentle spice and oaky. A soft leather feel and content on the tongue — 6 years ago
Surprisingly delicious! — 7 years ago
What a joy to find this bottle at a NYC steakhouse. It’s been a while. Initially turned on by these ancient Lebanese vineyards and organic practices. And blending fruit that we are Las Jaras use. Drinking well for being a ‘16. VA a bit high but reminiscent of some wilder Barolo — 2 years ago
Fantastic light but fantastic pinot taste — 3 years ago
Great wine. Lots of fruity flavor. Robust and rich. Paired perfectly with beef Wellington. $21 — 4 years ago
Top notch amazing Malbec — 5 years ago
This is just ridiculous. Act 7. Tastes of deep figs/plums up front as if grandma just baked a pie in your mouth. Finished smooth with a tiny bit of spice and more jams that make you want to cry. More of this please. — 5 years ago
Pale light yellow gold. Lively constant tiny bubbles. Deep round nose with high pitched fruit. Notes of pear, grapefruit, chalk and limestone. With more air you find some citrus and honeysuckle. Chewy in the mouth with great mouthfeel. Coats the entire mouth. Long finish lingers a minute or more. Velvet. Killer juice. Was inspired to open one of these after seeing a friend’s TN this weekend. Glad I did. — 6 years ago

Beautiful and even elegant, which is a descriptor that not many Pinot Meunier’s often get. Lovely aromatics, incredible texture, great balance. — a year ago
