Half bottle. So expensive but such a fantastic expression of what a wine can hold. — 6 years ago
Subtle citrus, easy drinking on a warm day — 7 years ago

Held its own through the back half of a classic nouvelle cuisine menu at maison rostang. Excellent wine with hints of tobacco, spice and mineral despite the protein and fat heavy second half. — 8 years ago
My first Sauternes experience - it's not half bad. Less sweet than I was expecting. — 8 years ago
Hints of berries and leather on the nose. High acid low tannin... Simply amazing smooth wine. Open for about an hour and a half and keeps getting better! Wish I would have given it more time. would defiantly drink again!! — 10 years ago
Friday night steak & claret is back! Draegers was running a special on aged, prime top sirloin and the meat was very tasty. This bottle was more elegant, drier and finer than the last one from this half case auction lot. Bordeaux continues to surprise me with the quality of this otherwise scorched vintage! — 10 years ago
Funky earth on the nose, new world dark jammy fruit on the palate, herbal finish — 10 years ago
We drank a half bottle if this at Legal Seafood Boston — 11 years ago
Nice lush tannins, maybe not as light as previous vintages? Blackberry, graphite, light leather, the usual tar & dried roses, damp earth, touch of oak. From Glass Half Full (Provincetown) — 6 years ago

Quite nice but clearly way past it's prime for this half bottle — 8 years ago
Sweet little half bottle. Lovely detailed nose from the beginning, but hard and metallic on the pallet out of the gate. Opened and softened considerably. Sweet tannins, nice plump middle. Red currant.. Was good in he glass for 2 hours. Pas mal for a 375. #bordeaux — 9 years ago
2000 vintage. Medium lemon hue. Very very fresh. Zingy and delightful. Some nutty development already showing. Depth of citrus fruits, hints of bergamot. Green peach. Medium minus body. Good lingering finish. A classy wine. Leave 5 years+ before opening. NB: after an hour and a half, the wine has added weight, more concentration and a developed nose of almond, hazelnut and stone fruits - sweet apricot and some caramel. Delightful and moreish. — 10 years ago
Just a half bottle taste of '10 vintage, took a few to open up. But the bottle disappeared quick after that. — 11 years ago
From the Langtons Outstanding category this small production wine from the Mornington Peninsula has escaped me over the years but there is no doubting its quality. I have since purchased some and will look forward to trying this after a year or two cellaring initially. Very promising. — 7 years ago
Very nice! Had st Patrick’s Day. — 7 years ago
What a wine!!! Mayacamas fruit, at 2640 elevation. 275 case offering. Poured a purple color in the glass with a dense youthful blackberry pie nose. The entry shows youthful chalkiness. Dense and thick. Beautiful now, expressing rather early on the palate but probably more of my kind of wine in a couple of years when this wine integrates a bit more. Finishes with lighter black pepper (provoked with pot roast). Youthful oak barrel tannin. QUITE enjoyable. QPR is quite nice as I don't think this one was north of 50 bucks. — 8 years ago
Half acre makes a great aromatic brew in the D.Cutter. You would be well off having one or two on a sunny day because it's not as heavy as some of its other IPA compatriots! — 10 years ago
2003 vintage from half bottle. Last bottle...opened for OTBN. I might see if I can replace it, though. Lives up to what you would want and expect from a great vintage port. — 10 years ago
2007. Why didn't I buy more? (half bottles). — 11 years ago
