Deep garnet color. Aromas of bright/ripe/sweet red fruit, rose petals, charcoal and light oak. Ripe red cherry and plum fruit on the palate with hints of sweet spices. Long finish with pleasant notes of wood smoke. Juicy tannins and quite elegant for such a young Nebbiolo based wine. Quite fresh and invigorating. Thanks for sharing, Keith S. — 4 months ago
Always like badly turned. A lot of apples, pears and some other elements on the nose. Somewhat the same on taste with a nice finish. — 8 months ago
$59 @ Last Bottle. 2009 drinking well in 2020. Classic Barolo color with a slight browning hue. 100% used oak. Smooth with slight tannins on the initial pour. — 4 years ago
Decanted for about nine hours. Fresh raspberries, cherries, and a bit of mushrooms. Very elegant. Full-bodied, but not quite as powerful as other Barolos I’ve had over the years. — 5 months ago
Pretty approachable and delicious. — 7 months ago
Great with some Flannery Hangars on the grill! A bit alcoholic but nice red fruits and great with the steak. — 9 months ago

Great aged tannins, cherry, black currant/creme de cassis, leather — 4 months ago
At first a blast of dark fruit, plum, blueberries, black currants and violet. Then a hint of green pepper then chocolate and wood. Super smooth integrated tannins, tiniest bit grippy at the end. Finish is loooong. Later as it opened some black tea also. Super. — 4 months ago
Outrageous. So aromatic right out of the bottle — 5 months ago

High acid, medium bodied and tannins. Petrol, black fruits, and barn yard on the nose. — a year ago
One of the best wines I’ve had in my life. Truly spectacular. All the things were there. Structure, balance, the fruits of Barolo, all of it. No sense in going over it. Memorable to say the least — 5 years ago
