Oak and red fruit on nose. Bold and very smooth Favorite of GR’s collection I’ve had to date — 3 months ago
Upon decanting for 30 minutes the nose is full of ripe cherry, tobacco & a bit of mint.
On the palate the nose is verified with good structure and soft tannin. it is medium bodied, delightful wine that is fully mature and has a long full finish. Drink it now. It is a lovely classic barolo. — 3 months ago
Less bold and slightly less dry than cerrata. More complex. Great nose of dark and red fruits and earth — 3 months ago

Old school showing restraint and tradition. However, the fruit is a bit muted cherry and takes a backseat to earthy tones of forest floor, leather, and dried herbs. Tannins are firm yet balanced, and the finish carries a touch of tar and rose.
A solid entry level Barolo. — 14 days ago
