Very nice. Great classic heff. — 7 years ago
The nose on this is scrumptious, and it tastes as good as it smells. It was our favorite tasting at the Cline family cellars. — 7 years ago
A big and intense nose. Broad, quite ripe blue fruit. A sweetness, and lovely cherry notes. A good midpalate with dark fruit. Lacks a little in terms of complexity and there’s a blockiness/ austerity to the finish that doesn’t quite live up to the nose, but some elements of this are fantastic. — 8 years ago
Solid wine. Disappointed though. Didn't live up to the hype. Maybe needs time to age to see the overnoy magic — 9 years ago
128-yr. old vines. Super-rich, but I wish they had picked a bit earlier. This winery sources great Zin fruit from unique historical sources but they’re always over 15%. I cant help but think the wines would be more interesting and flexible if they picked earlier. In any event, this is quite good and shows very ripe Zin character, but the acids are low and the effect of some bottle age is a flatter mouthfeel. Still very good. — 6 years ago
So balanced no descriptors stand out - just damn good claret. Herbal silky with fading plum - medium weight. The Cullen girls Diana and Vanya are long time adopters of organic and biodynamic principles and this is considered as one of Australia’s leading Cabernet blends. Cullen say this will live 20 years so it is only halfway there. Have the next one later this year. — 7 years ago

A medium bodied cab that packs a big punch. Very well made. Didn’t quite live up to the price but v. good. — 7 years ago
2014 Barbaresco Produttori del Barbaresco- what can I say? She’s the queen! Strawberry jelly on toast is the bouquet! The palate has lots of cherry and pomegranate. Then comes the earth tones such as leather and tobacco but not strong the tannins are so mild due to the delicious mild fruit in this wine. The finish is mildly dry. Overall somewhat less acidic than the Barolo. Long live the Queen. — 7 years ago

This bottle was hand carried from the Middle East, seven years back, and my first time enjoying the 2002 since release. Cork was perfect. On the nose, some VA but nothing crazy. Notes of balsamic, teriyaki, sandalwood and charred meat. On the palate, still quite primary with dark cherries and dried dark fruits being predominate. Plenty of structure. The texture is remarkably fine and silky. Quite classy actually! Nevertheless, this isn’t the most soul stirring vintage of Musar Rouge. At nearly 19 years of age, this bottle still comes across as youthful with developing vinousity. Perhaps time will coax more out...but I suspect, as others have previously stated, that the 2002 is more of a modest wine by their standards...which is still quite delicious and enjoyable in its own right. This will easily live for another 10+ years. — 5 years ago
