Killer nose of creamy red fruits, palate is deep with minerals, mild acidity and ripe red fruits, all in a white wine. So lovely, oak aging does wonders for this grape.
Last time we had this bottle was in the cellar of C-L, no finer hosts. 100% Pinot Meunièr (2014 fruit), so technically a Blanc de Noirs. This bottle was sealed on 31 May 2015 and bottle number 199 of 1220 produced.
Relaxing by a fire in the chimenea tonight, our first frost was finally this morning. Nice and cool tonight, the warmth of the flames is satisfying. — 5 years ago
Lots of toasty notes, green apple, tangerine rind and great acid. — 5 years ago

Excited to drink this producer. Almond croissant with a stewed fruit glaze on the nose. Palette is like you drank briney sea water then popped a jumbo marshmallow and some Fuji apple. Some aged manchego in there somewhere. Drinking quite well right now, nothing wham bam out of control about it but damn good. — 4 years ago
Solid sparkling - one of the first times I found cava somewhat compelling... — 5 years ago

A citrus nose for this white of white. An excellent aromatic flavor with notes of lemons, brioche bread and citrus. Excellent — 6 years ago
Good Tempranillo — 6 years ago
Clean, very fresh and refreshing. Hint of apples on both nose and palate. Great with raw bar. — 3 years ago
This is evolving nicely. Tart cherries, rock like flavor, forest, a bit of spice, flowers. Really lingers on the palate. Still has a lot of time in the bottle. — 3 years ago
Really enjoyed the aroma of this one; vacillated between a sweet yeasty smell to almost fungi/cheese smell. Definitely put in white wine glass or could be too bitter. — 5 years ago
Tons of acid and also oxidized slightly. I really love these wines. 👌🏻 — 5 years ago
Typical zin fruit and spice, but a bit lighter on the tannins. Pairs well with grilled meats. — 6 years ago
A wonderful Cava I brought to Italy from Spain. Note the egg-shaped bottle, very artsy. Aromas of sugar biscuit, green olive, and almond. Very fine, delicate bubbles. A bitter aftertaste that reminds me of Vernaccia di San Gimignano or a dry Sherry. Quite refined and elegant. Great start for New Year’s Eve! — 6 years ago

Enjoying this more than I expected. Beautiful golden color. Gorgeous nose of roasted pear, caramel and brioche. Dry on the palate with round full body. — 3 years ago
