Very typical way of producing. Top wine with classic elements but bever dull. Dense. Hints of tropical fruit and lemon zest. With a long….. finish. Delicate not buttery. I would not recognitie it in a blind tasting as a Meursault. Must try for Evert Burgundy lover. — 9 months ago

14.5%. 🍎 apples, ripe, a big wine. Really well done yet over the top for me. Apple pie. A fantastic wine for asian food! I had a hard time with this one! On one side I was smitten and on the other side I was wondering what could this wine be with this quality grape material picked earlier and therefore less alcohol and more elegance? — 6 months ago
Well balanced flowery and citrusy. The after taste is minerally and caramaly and develops for a while. — 8 months ago

Butterscotch, nutty, bottle sweetness, still a great fill level, plenty of acid to keep it from being cloying, lingering finish, I’m aware this was likely better 10-15 years ago, but it’s hanging in there, down to my last mixed dozen of 1989 and 1990 Raveneau purchased on release!! — 3 months ago

My favorite Raveneau vintage and 2004 is absolutely pristine showing everything you could want from the legend—Captivating aromatics, a powerful, voluminous and waxy textured palate that comes with age, racy lemony acids and crystalline minerality. Not only is this brilliant vintage chiseled and laser focused but there is tremendous richness, weight and density. Finish just stays with you. The best showing I’ve had from the Forêt vineyard. — 2 months ago
