Exceptional and great. This tasted fresh and elegant, I would have loved a refined red meat like a great elegant roast. Far surpasses a “food only wine”. Highly recommended a d I emphasize the elegance of this in terms of a Syrah. — 6 years ago

Big but quite good. Almost reminds of of southern Rhone somehow? Large dark fruit and that interesting herbal almost cab like background. A full mouthfeel as well. Had it with rich short ribs cooked in wine and buttery mashed potatoes and it was excellent. A great stand in for a big napa cab (like a real napa cab not just a chemical fruit bomb).
