2015 vintage. Tasted the 2023 version two days ago (9.4). Massive fruit and acidity and built for the long haul. So too, was this effort. Decanted and tasted after an hour at approx 62 degrees. Medium-heavy body. Golden ripeness harnessed by governing acidity. Hovers in this state for another 4-5 years before descending to a different stratum. 3.20.26 — 2 months ago

2017 vintage. Medium-heavy body. Brusque as fusque. Serious bruiser. About as much nuance, currently, as a car alarm at 3:47am outside your window. Fruit about as dark as you can get. Should be doxxed and serve out a mandatory 10-12 year sentence before sampling again. Even then, probably too soon. Recidivism is thy name. Total bad boy. Good luck with this one. You'll need it. 3.25.26. — 2 months ago

Raisin tight enough; no character yet.
20 minutes later: Ooh light cherry cola! Had it with my weirdly chocolate tasting homemade soba. I guess seaweed, tsuru no moto, tamari, egg, sesame oil caramelize in the mouth and make this wine like a trip to 7-Eleven in 1986. Me likie. — 6 months ago
Aromatics of new leather and dried fruit. Not your average Côtes du Rhône as you would expect from Chateau de Beaucastel. More full bodied than expected to go with our chicken dish. Far richer than Guigal’s version of Côtes du Rhône. Had my last bottle 11 weeks later on 27th February 2026 with consistent notes. — 6 months ago
