My style. High toned and limey but with juicy sweetness bringing it back down to earth.
I could drink this all day long. Lip smacking and snappy. 11.5% alc. — 4 years ago

Rich, unctuous and concentrated dry Riesling, but - kudos to the 2008 acidity - by no means flabby. Great tension, slatey minerals and deep orange fruit notes (tangerine, peach and guave). A very delicate hint of savoury crustaceans really adds to the complexity! Beautiful wine. — 7 years ago
Floral, medium bodied, super food friendly in a shapely bottle. — 8 years ago
Pinot Noir. A beautiful discovery here. Individual, mineral and straight in style. Riesling varietal character doesn't come through obviously. Aromatically evoking more Muscat Blanc a petits grains with notes of rose, preserved orange, musk and spices. The floral tone is the link leading towards Riesling. Mid palate onwards the slatey, mineral and floral/wooded notes take over revealing the greatness of Riesling. — 9 years ago
Beautiful nose. Haunting. Ethereal. Wonderful acidity on an incredibly rich palate. Opulent and fat but cleans out with nice acids on the finish. Never stops being opulent. Classic 05 Spatlese, in that it really drinks like and Auslese. Still delicious. — 10 years ago
Discreet use of oak and tons of minerals. — 10 years ago

A bit more closed then the B but how strange is it? The wines are now for four weeks in the bottle — 8 years ago

Poppin'! Thank you Mark! — 11 years ago
Good nose, fairly sharp on the palate, maybe needs time to open up. Out of a magnum. Very well matched to confit neck of lamb. — 5 years ago
Dude. We we’re eating Indian when we opened this bottle & it was the most perfect thing with the cuisine on the table. It’s mineral, it’s acid driven, it’s flavorful, there’s the right amount of RS with a refreshing zippiness that just kept me coming back for more. — 5 years ago
Has to be the best German wine I have ever tasted... Perfection of sweet and acid... — 8 years ago

Wow from a poor year! Must try from a good year! — 9 years ago
Outstanding. 98 gr/liter RS but the acid balances it so well. Still a baby. Excited to cellar this — 10 years ago
