Nice wine!! — 3 months ago
Mid to dark Ruby in colour. Black and Red fruits - aromatics of blackberry, note of raspberry, earthy and sandy notes. A medium to full bodied palate - rich and enduring. Costers de Vinyes Vielles comes from the company’s oldest vines. A blend of 110 year old Carinena (55%) and 90 year old Garnacha (45%). Aged for 16 months in French oak. One of the 1001 Wines. 14.5% ABV. Love Priorat wines after our visit in 2022. — 3 months ago
Classic Priorat notes of cocoa, cherries, and llicorella. Solid wine drinking nicely. — 5 months ago

Floral and crisp. Excellent pairing with pad Thai! — 8 months ago
Black cherry, full body but balanced, with a tint of sweetness. Good value. Bought at Enoteca for ¥3,825. — 9 months ago
Tasted blind & I whiffed on all my guesses- because I had forgotten lithe, elegant, Burgundy like sappiness CAN come from Priorat, & especially this producer, Palacios. I adore their cheaper bottlings too, for very much the same reasons. With air it’s rose petals & ripe cherries for days on the nose, & a perfectly balanced palate of ripe dark cherries, but also some gaminess which made me think Northern Rhone at first. A real treat, especially for Spanish nay-sayers — 3 months ago
A lower ABV option at 10.5, it’s the perfectly light and refreshing! Persistent and smaller bubbles, with notes of green apple, stone fruit, and citrus. — 4 months ago
Very light bodied, don’t like the smell — 7 months ago
Avoided the hurricane and the Priorat still here on the wine list — 8 months ago
Beautiful blanc / blush transparent pink - white in the glass.
Just a classy clean bouquet with aromas of raspberry, peaches, and the light waft of fresh bread.
Nice mousse, not overpowering. Monastrell comes through. Big, unencumbered, and inconspicuously fresh and bold. Peaches and raspberries with a light bready character. Cherries. — 2 months ago
Blend of mostly Garnatxa and Carinena, aged in American oak, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits, spice and oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and raspberry with vanilla, smoky cedar and licorice. Fine chewy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak, sweet spice and earthy mineral character. Nice! — 3 months ago
Light & Smooth would buy — 5 months ago
Deep ruby to garnet in color; cassis, black pepper, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; high tannins; tastes like black plums, blackberries, licorice, and graphite with a long finish. It's big and bold. A little too much volatile acidity. Punches you in the mouth, but it's tasty. Nellie doesn't like it. — 6 months ago
