Clear, medium ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of red plums, black currants, hibiscus, and red pepper flakes; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of tart cherries, red currants, pencil shavings, and smoked paprika with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie says it's ok. — 4 months ago
3.4. Very interesting Cabernet Franc from Mendoza. Strong fruits and minerals. On sale for $22.99. — 7 months ago
Bonarda on a wacky railroad. A lot of different tastes come up while drinking this. Ate it with self made Napoli style pizza while breaking the rules using a litte Asian herbs in the squized tomato. Will buy again. — 15 days ago

Made me think of the Kinks: You really got me. Peaches, pomegranates and baked apple in the nose, showing some evolution. In the mouth…Holy! An amazingly creamy texture that fills the palate and lingers on thanks to a remarkable acidity. Great — 4 months ago
The 2012 is a blend of 40% Malbec, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% each Cabernet Franc, 10% Merlot, all from the Gualtallary vineyard.
Deep layers of blackberry, plum, fig, and cassis, framed by notes of violets, tobacco, and dark chocolate. Hint of green olive as well. Big frame but gentle and warm on the palate. Silky tannins. Touch of graphite on the long finish. This is at its peak but should continue to drink well for the next 3-5 years. — 8 months ago

Dark purple. Blackberries and patent leather on the inviting nose. Full-bodied palate echoes the nose adding, in addition, blackberry, cassis, and a hint of dark chocolate. Medium acidity. Medium tannins, mostly on the finish. A classic Argentine Malbec that checks off all the boxes. Enjoy with beef (of course), lamb, or hearty root vegetable dishes. Drink now through 2027. — 2 months ago
