Very nice, esp for $23. Well balanced, light body. Real complexity if you savor and swirl. But very easy drinking too. 13.5% al. I think Nebbiolo? Buy again. — 2 months ago

Interesting Valle d’Aoste Gamay! Bright ruby/purple color. Aromas of bramble vines, dark berries, black olives and black pepper. Red and black berry fruit on the pallet with an herbal and mineral note on the finish. Tingling acidity and a silky texture. Light bodied and refreshing. Fresh and clean. I am not detecting any oak aging. Excellent Gamay based wine does not always have be come from Beaujolais. — 4 months ago

Alpine Nebbiolo from Valle D'Aosta. Medium bodied and blood red. Creosote, cigar leaf, and red fruits. Fine tannins still working their in-never a polished wine nor should it be, and the way I prefer. Plenty of road left to develop in the glass or cellar. — 23 days ago
