Beefy. Maybe too early still — 6 months ago
Light salmon color. Aromas of watermelon and red berries. Bold red berry and watermelon fruit flavors with a nice hint of spice. Touch of salinity on the finish. Nice texture (bit of heft) and a bit of tannin. Quite crisp and refreshing. Gulpable! Excellent QPR. Thanks for sharing, Kase! — 8 months ago

Excellent wine and pairs well with a steak or lamb chops. Full bodied, aromatic and not as sweet as Cabs. Smooth finish and can taste the tannins — 6 months ago
Very dense and black in colour. These wines always remind me of Fruit and Nut milk chocolate. The colour makes you think full bodied but it’s actually light to medium bodied. A luscious mouth filling palate with the savoury milk chocolate together with notes of raisin and date. Supple yet persistent tannins. Reminiscent of a Priorat Garnacha in some respects. — 8 months ago
Not your grandmothers clarete- whatever that may be. Light hibiscus in color, with strong notes of red currant, blood orange, cassis, and black cherry. A bit chewy & substantial on palate. While it’s not Rose, I could see serving this to someone who finds Lopez de Heredia Rose too funky or… like me, cost prohibiting. For about 70$ less, it’s delicious & fascinating. — 9 months ago
Really good wine — 3 years ago
Awesome with some air. Lemon peel, marzipan, pear, flint, beeswax on the nose. Lacks the power of grand cru burgundy but could easily be mistaken for a nose of aged chevalier Montrachet. Very fun and complex wine. — 3 years ago

Syrah 70% / Cab Sauv 14% / PV 16%
Varietally fermented & aged. French oak (10-14 months), then assemblage.
Prominent roasted, smokey aromas, leather, blueberry, blackberry, menthol, coffee bean, clove, black pepper, dried violets, pencil shavings.
Ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; vanilla bean, cocoa nib, black pepper, crushed rock / graphite. Fresh acidity; tannins resolving nicely but still robust.
Drink now with food now or revisit in 2-3yrs. (Nb. variance has been a factor - some have peaked) — 7 months ago
Light golden color. Aromas of white flowers, fresh herbs, wet stones and a faint amount of citrus fruit. Green melon, lychee, and those fresh herbs fill the palate. Minerals pleasantly dominate the finish. Creamy texture and lively acidity. So fresh! Outstanding QPR! Reminded me more of a high elevation crisp white from France or Italy. Wonderful surprise! Thanks for sharing this one, Kase! — 8 months ago
I’m not a fan of red wines, but this one was fabulous. It was given to me as a gift, and I had no hangover the next day, and it was very smooth. — 2 years ago
Very dry and clean. Minerals, light florals, grapefruit. Excellent pair to smoked trout. — 3 years ago
Best Spanish red I’ve had in a while. Mencia (or Juan in Portugal) great cab franc substitute. — 4 years ago
