"Slow Decanted" this white burgundy with the Vinloq System
DAY 1
👃Lemon/underripe pineapple with stony minerals/black pepper. Vivid
👅Glorious minerality from start to finish.
Lemony fruit takes a back seat to the minerality but there is plenty to provide balance. Great structure, very nice acidity, and a slightly oily texture. All bright and crisp
The remaining burgundy was Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 10
👃Minerals lead on the vivid nose with lemons in the background. Less flinty minerality than day 1
👅Lemon fruit followed by minerality coming on at the black pepper finish. Structure, acidity, and oily texture continue. Concentrated. Classy and well put together
The 2014 Morgeot Les Fairendes is going strong and was powerful and refined on DAYS 1 and 10.
No reason this cannot continue to improve based on the great overall balance

Discrete nose of white fruit with pears and also a slight minty and smoke feel, very discrete. The palate is gorgeous, such balance between the perfect acidity and slight richness of fruit and elegance. Another great 2017 CDB. 90-91
Nez discret de poires et une touche de menthe et de fumée mais sans déranger. Le vin est délicieux, quel équilibre entre cette tension appuyée et cette richesse de fruit, juste parfait. Un autre beau blanc 2017. 90-91 + — 5 years ago

Juicy red fruit, earth and bramble, finishing with sour cherry. The whole Chassagne rouge package, if it just didn’t cost this much :-( — 5 months ago
2015 vintage, well balanced light yellow in colour, flint and beautiful long finish. Superb Chassagne. — a year ago

Pale lemon with medium+ intensity aromas of stone, tropical and citrus fruits with vanilla oak, spice and bread notes. On the palate ripe apple, pear, melon, creamy lemon fruit flavors with notes of wet stone and warm vanilla oak, medium+ balance with vivid acidity. Long finish ending with nutty oak, baking spice and mineral notes. Very Good but can get better with some bottle age. — 4 years ago
Very enjoyable. A little reductive but could be the desired style and I like it. — 5 years ago
Small red berries, earth, licorice, small amount of spice on the nose; small red berries, leaf litter, spice, medium tannin, high acidity on the palate; makes the fruit seem a bit sour and a bit out of balance. Decently long finish. For a basic Bourgogne rouge it is a decent enough wine, however for 54 dollars in my market it is hardly a bargain. If I factored in price I’d probably rate 8.6. — 5 months ago
Elegant nose of beeswax, acacia flowers, pear, almond, mineral notes, lemon rind. Lacks concentration in the mid palate. Persistent thru the finish with the lifted style. — 4 years ago
