2022 vintage. A fave SLB plot/expression over the years and this is no exception. Silky as always from this producer. Light-medium body. The expected strawberry/raspberries rsvp early on with suggestions of rhubarb and dirt/earth on the finish. Showing really nicely now despite the youthful innocence. 03.26.25. — 4 months ago

Decanted separately two bottles for Christmas lunch
Took time to open and second showed benefit of longer time to open with notes of wood with earth, cassis, black cherry and a hint of earthy floor. Showed excellent performance and flavours that also possessed benefit of cellaring and results in tremendous length and finish.

Vintage 2010 | gave it two hours in decanter, a barnyard stinky in smell (not everyone appreciates this, I do), cedar very present, hints of spices and a good concentration. Bright yellow. Clear. A bit closed on the nose, ripe apples, peach, honey, oak. Dried fruits, orange on palette. Acid. Tangy or spicy. Silky, medium finish. Tasted in May 2021 at BigMacs&Burgundy book event by Alliance Francaise. — 4 years ago
