Fantastic sake from Nabeshima. Not too sweet, but enough to pair well with the entire sushi omakase. Easy to drink. — 9 years ago

I usually avoid posting wines that I show/taste for work but I've drank two glasses of this over two nights. Really really excellent stuff. — 11 years ago
Almost like an organic Loire white, in its funkiness — 8 years ago
2005 Kayli Morgan Vineyard one if the California Cult Classics, outstanding, oak, leather, earth tones to finish, sad to say only two left in the cellar, time to breakout the 2007! — 9 years ago

Tasted through a chunk of "cult" Napa Cabs tonight. Tons of garbage, but this 09 Opus really stood out. Only balanced wine of the bunch. — 10 years ago
Good for $50.00, but come on@Eric Shanks
Re taste those beau vigne wines blind next time or while sober,🚼 definitely would buy again, just doesn't have that smooth, thick & viscousness of the Cult or Guest cottage,
Glad@Eric Shanks mentioned them though — 8 years ago
One of the best California Cabernets, including all the Cult Cabs. It is pure elegance even at this still young age. It most certainly will only get better over the the next five to eight years. The hardest part is waiting as it's so good now. Blackberries, blueberries, blueberries and blueberries. Black plum, raspberries paint the background, liquid violets, milk chocolate, it's juicy to dry, underbrush, herbs, dry crush rocks, just a touch of baking spices, sweet leather and dry soft minerals. Smooooth! The fruit is perfect. Chuck really knows how to farm fruit and the exact time to reel it in. He is one of the most underrated Winemakers in CA. — 8 years ago
Had it 2015.10.26--Scent of various flowers exploded when opened. First sip of this Napa Cult wine (Grand Cru of the region according to its winemaker) by Harlan already evoked memories of left bank Bordeaux wines. Aerated for about 30 minutes before enjoying its notes of peppery, leathery and berries and lasting taste with good steak and more importantly congenial company. I asked the friend and host to talk about his definition of good wine and he said--it's who you had the wine with that made it so very memorable...I guess we wine fanatics are just sentimental people after all :) — 9 years ago
Loved it. — 9 years ago
Banana bread & cantaloupe! — 9 years ago
This wine I found when it was not well known. It is deep in berries with a little smoky oak flavor making it very smooth. — 9 years ago
Somewhat of a cult Pinot in Tassie. Home Hill wins many trophies on the Show circuit. Very aromatic nose - a touch sooty. Medium
Weight palate quite long. Noticeable acid at finish. Good. 17+. — 10 years ago
Fantastic Luxembourger Crémant with perhaps the greatest name ever! — 10 years ago
