Great complexity - layered with some grain & lees, bright on palate, another great strange creation from the Off Centered Beer Guys — 7 years ago
One of the handful of Viognier wines that I didn't push away after the first sip. Very strong floral and peachy-mango notes, but way more acid than I expected. Seriously. I won't call it typical because it's not often you see Viognier handled like this. — 8 years ago
Delicious blend. Some lingering tannins but a smooth finish. — 8 years ago
This splendid blend of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache Noir was like music to my palate. It is luxurious, complex and delicious. Deep purple color, multi layered nose with almonds, plums, cherries, violets, spring flowers and chocolate, full body, rich with round tannins, lots of fruit and a long delicious finish. A lovely creation. My score 91, drink to 2028, visit again for an additional half a star in 2020 ;-) — 8 years ago
She has that swagger, but it’s the saunter that really does it for me. Saunter is the creation of Heather and Josh Clark of Clark Vineyard Management. Thomas Rivers Brown makes the wines. Their Clone 685 Cabernet Sauvignon is from the Red Head Vineyard on Old Soda Springs Road in southeast Napa Valley. Plush, perfumed and inky, with that keep-coming-back-to-the-glass savoriness. Lush and hedonistic, but with layers and length. Stellar! — 5 years ago
Outstanding with more to come. Large portion of complexity is tightly structure within the sharp backbone with a fine beaded and elegant mousse and a great fatigue. Great evolvement in the glass. Still acting youthful and unleashed, time will benefit this creation with a broader and creamier texture to come. — 6 years ago
Great tasting tonight. An excellent start with a fantastic bottle of bubbles. Lots of spice from the oak barrels during fermentation. Baking spice and citrus notes come thru nicely. Big finish of tangerine and baking spices. Very elegant. — 7 years ago
Fresh, lively, crisp fruit with a fine thread of minerality and herbaceousness. Not in your face at all, but definitely not a shrinking violet. Shellfish, please. — 8 years ago
Deep red color with yummy black cherry fruit and a hints of earth and fallen leaves. Fairly moderate acidity and tannins. Feels surprisingly light for its depth. I agree with the positive comments I've seen on this wine. It's a very good creation and an outstanding value. — 8 years ago
This Chardonnay is beautiful like a confident woman. There’s finesse, structure and even a little tension. Provocative and interesting. All the fine things in the creation of complex white Burgundy.... — 6 years ago
16.5+/20 (90+/100) Вино с ароматами вишни, клубники, красной груши и пломбира. Довольно кислотное и танинное. Танины ещё сухие, вино явно нуждается в выдержке. — 6 years ago
A perfect Pinot Noir South African experience! — 6 years ago
Very interesting white, Posip. The closest analogue would be Torrontes.
Dry white wine that is strangely seductive, every sip entertains your palate and even your lips just like a kiss. Slightly heavier body and minimal fruit with grapefruit, pear, and green apple. Lovely Croatian creation;-) — 8 years ago
So beautiful - look at that color. Earthy nose, orange rind with alpine herbs on the pallet. Very unique, took me a while to get my head around this William Allen creation. — 8 years ago

Sandy soils and salty winds, all located within a few miles of the vast Atlantic Ocean lend themselves to the creation of this little-known gem from Portugal. Made in the same way, by many of the families since the mid-1800s, this classically dry red with sharp tannins and a refreshing brightness are a perfect match to grilled meats, and tangy, herb -laden salads. It’s nose is deep and mystical. Is that tar and over-ripe purple plums? The finish stays with you, on and on. It’s a Colares, pronounced “Cool-arsh”. These are a rarity even in better wine stores. But, are worth grabbing if you see one. — 5 years ago
