Tons of black fruit on the nose with some leather and tobacco leaves and black pepper, medium body with surprising tannins for 22 years, the earthy and leathery notes are more prominent on the palate but the blackberry lingers with the tannins.

Deep red with a hint of brick on the edge. Not a huge nose. Just a light smell of wood and incense. Flavors are zingy and tart. Some cherry. Hint of green herbs. Mint. This is a more acidic and bright wine than the Crianza. Not as juicy and more ‘serious’. Complex. — 8 months ago
