Guigal makes well priced wines which show off the various appellations well. St Cosme too. Any Kermit Lynch imports. The Perrin family. In the Northern Rhone, Crozes-Hermitage & St Joseph are good appellations to start with as you can find great wines which are well priced. In the South, Cotes du Rhone & the various villages, Vacqueyras, Lirac, Corbieres, Ventoux. Gigondas will show more structured wines in the South.

A great wine at a really affordable price. I was a little concerned about the 2011 vintage, but it didn't have that edge that is usually found with this vintage. — 11 years ago
