When I planted my vineyard in 1999 people were calling me a loon for planting Syrah block West of the Sta. Rita Hills planting it to 6x3 planting 15” off the ground - now Mouvedre is planted next door and wow the aromatics here are amazing - this is planted to a head trained system I’m told, really nice job by the folks atClementine Carter- rose petal, cherry fruit , spice , black pepper, earth , cinnamon, so easy to enjoy - Nice — 2 months ago
