Medium gold color, looking a bit darker than it should at this age. POX notes on the nose including some light butterscotch and ripe oaky chardonnay. Lacking acidity with subtle fruit. Has no Chablis-like characteristics. Had a 1990 Raveneau recently that was more fresh than this. OK to drink, but doesn't have the attributes you're looking for with Chez Raveneau. — 3 years ago
