#AgedWineTuesday
Light yellow in color.
Strong nose of apples, yeast, spices, bread, minerals and sea salt.
Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity, and medium plus sized bubbles.
Dry on the palate with citrus, apples, pears, light earth, yeast, vegetables, spices and bitter herbs.
Nice finish with limes and almonds.
This 13 year old Vintage Champagne feels young and needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly.
Rich and extracted with lots of bread notes. Elegant and robust.
Showing nice complexity, and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.
Paired beautifully with fresh oysters.
A blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Disgorged in 2020.
12% alcohol by volume.
91 points.

The first two glasses did little to nothing for me, but that opening shyness turns into an expressive full-bodied mouthful as more air gets on it. Very dominate notes of pastry, the creaminess of baked apple pie, marzipan and apricot run into the richness and depth of aged reserve wines. Still has a polished feel that takes away some needed acid. Have it with chicken or pork dishes — 14 days ago
Excellent nose, aromas of strawberry and cherry. Perfect balance of flavor and dryness. Excellent, especially for its price. Drinks like a $50+ sparkling. — 2 days ago
Honey rich citrus pear. Ample aroma. High density, volume. Acidic. Slight Oak. Chinese quince. Meursault La Vigne de 1945 21 @19800, Dmar, 250424 — 11 days ago
This guy is blooming. Very fine and complex nose with indefinite notes but of ample bouquet. It enters serious in the mouth without missing any bit of intensity.
Actually gaining more and more focus the longer the aftertaste.
Literally a beautiful finish.
Linger and simply wow.
Just 96 because the intensity and the weight is not quite consistent but this is a gorgeous wine. — 18 days ago

Characterized by salinity and bright citrus fruits on the nose. Mousse is compact. Bright acidity on the mid palate with notes of berries and moderate sweetness. Looks stunning in the glass. — 8 days ago
