Disgorged December 2018. At first all mineral & acid. It slowly reveals fresh grapefruit & richer pear notes. Texturally, this drinks like a still wine, and shows plenty of finesse. Enjoying the discovery of this producer. Excellent Champagnes. — 4 years ago

Nose has oxidized pear slice, pear peel, limestone paste, died lemon zest and toasted sourdough bread.

Palate has bruised yellow apple, lemon peel, warmed lemon slice, (minor) lemon creme with well balanced acidity to mineral notes. Long finish, this bottle has many, many years ahead of it still.

Nose has rising bread dough, bruised yellow apple, oxidized yellow apple and moist chalk.

Palate has dried ginger, risen bread dough, under-ripe yellow apple, oxidized apple peel, superb mineral core and very long finish with lightly sweet, buttered popcorn. Just wow, love the vintage offers from P-F!

We're enjoying our first fire in the chimenea on this cool late summer evening, just one of many to come the rest of the year.
