Lean complex mineral long finish. Would like to let this sit for a while longer before trying the next bottle. The freshness of it is honestly a little overwhelming would love to see it expand in the bottle a little more. Excellent nonetheless. — 3 years ago
Disgorged July 2019. 40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier, 10% “Vin Rouge”. Opulent & elegant. Layers of stone fruit & pear with crisp acid & fresh floral aromatics. My first crack at Clement Perseval’s Champagne, but have had some his family’s bottles. Excited about this one. — 4 years ago

Nose has oxidized pear slice, pear peel, limestone paste, died lemon zest and toasted sourdough bread.
Palate has bruised yellow apple, lemon peel, warmed lemon slice, (minor) lemon creme with well balanced acidity to mineral notes. Long finish, this bottle has many, many years ahead of it still.

Nose has rising bread dough, bruised yellow apple, oxidized yellow apple and moist chalk.
Palate has dried ginger, risen bread dough, under-ripe yellow apple, oxidized apple peel, superb mineral core and very long finish with lightly sweet, buttered popcorn. Just wow, love the vintage offers from P-F!
We're enjoying our first fire in the chimenea on this cool late summer evening, just one of many to come the rest of the year.
