medium ruby; cherry, strawberry, lavender, licorice, garrigue; muscular but with surprising freshness, 14.5 % ABV; blend of 70% Grenache, 14% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, and 1% Cinsault; great vintage, beautiful site near Chapel of Saint Cosme, #5 of Wine Spectator’s 2017 top 100 wines; $38 — 7 years ago
Deep and brooding dark fruit not quiet at peak — 8 years ago

Nose of golden delicious apple skin, lime zest and a hint of oxidation. Lemon-lime, hazelnut, musk. Acid attack at the back of the side palate with secondary oak notes and a hint of vanilla and orchid. Enjoying it with a bit of Gouda and sea salt crackers. I freakin love Jura! — 11 years ago
Très cerise griotte, fin et agréable — 12 years ago
Compliments everything it's paired with. Give it time to open up. — 13 years ago
Great balance of cherries, minerality and tannins. Decant and enjoy. Solid QPR. — 5 years ago
Always a fav. First taste of 2015 vintage, nice balance for the year, extraction is deft and carries some finesse to it. As usual, complex, layered, full of goutte de terroir. Layers of cherry from crushed to soaked, slight hint of prune, raspberry confiture, game, fur, roast beef, juniper, forest and cedar, pure garrigue, licorice root, ceylon cinnamon, chaparral, powdered sugar, 5 spice, singed tobacco, graphite, bitter cocoa. Still taut, the tannins need time to relax, but I think they will always have persistence in the wine. Ok with me. — 6 years ago

Multiple flavors. Full bodied, smokey. — 9 years ago
Tart Dark Fruit, Smokey, Salty, Damp Earth, just the right touch of Barnyard, Herbal-Sage, Thyme, Tomato Leaf... Very well balanced. Masculine, but with a touch of femininity... (Like a well-groomed Man!) Held up beautifully the 2nd day too👍👍👍👏👏👏 #DomaineDeSaintPierre #Cornas #2009 #PaulJabouletAine — 11 years ago
Good acid to challenge my elk tartar. Could use a little more body, but very nice for my pallet. — 12 years ago

Very elegant and pretty, low tannin, great acid. Leather, tobacco, earth, finishes red fruit. Lush and complex. — 13 years ago

Very solid Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Steep Hill Importer-I like their portfolio as seems to emphasize true to type varietals. Nothing flashy, just good ol fashioned terroir. — 5 years ago
Pick this wine up from Costco at a very decent price and I was very satisfied. I drank this over three days and I want to say the second day was the best. It was definitely fruit-forward, full-bodied, and some pepper at the end. Not big on wines with pepper but this one did not disappoint and I would definitely buy again. — 6 years ago
Crisp and tasty white burgundy. Fantastic with anything. — 8 years ago
Had this at 11MP. — 8 years ago
